Books we read, March 1st

We got up late and I don’t remember hearing Ken read any books while I was in the shower. He assures me that he read [1] Caillou Good Night by Christine L’heureux three times. It’s the sort of thing that would burn into his memory and might get blocked from mine. Since it was Thursday, we went to Melissa’s for supper where Reid is usually interested in reading some of their books. This was the exception, though. I did my best to pitch [2] Love Songs off the Little Bear by [3] Margaret Wise Brown but she wouldn’t bite. We got home so late that we didn’t have time for a story. Reid cried and so I proved my (rusty) steel trap memory is still good enough to recite all of the words to Benny’s Bus (no author).
