Books we read, March 14th

Reid wanted to come downstairs first thing and so we had access to different books than usual. We read:

Some of the poems in Itsy Bitsy Spider and Other Action Rhymes a Reading Together at Home book by Patrice Aggs; and
[1] Go, Dog, Go! by [2] P.D. Eastman, because Reid spied it as we walked down the stairs where it was laying waiting to be added to yesterday’s list.

In the evening, we read:

[3] Franklin’s Blanket by Paulette Bourgeois, I am not sure if Reid understands Franklin’s attachment to his blanket since she doesn’t have a particular “lovey” though she has taken to sleeping with her tractor blanket that Dylan’s Grandma Linda made for her;
Who Lives on the Farm?, illustrated by John Green, Reid likes to see the animals, big and small;
[4] The Cat in the Hat Comes Back by [5] Dr Seuss, it’s a “two-for-one” one since you get the Cat and the alphabet;
[6] Mickey’s Week (no author), which has all of these Disney characters of my youth. Donald Duck has made an impression on Reid; and
[7] Hippos Go Beserk! by [8] Sandra Boynton.
