While we drove to take Ken to Trenton, I sat in the backseat with Reid and read some library books that I had grabbed on the way out the door:

[1] Mrs Crump’s Cat by Linda Smith;
[2] Down in the Woods at Sleepytime by [3] Carole Lexa Schaefer;
[4] The Maestro Plays by [5] Bill Martin Jr (twice); and
Big Bear Ball by [6] Joanne Ryder.

And in the restroom at the garage, less than five minutes from the base, where we had to stop *right now*:
[7] A Friend Like You by [8] Roger Pare; and
[9] Norman’s Snowball by [10] [12] Hazel Hutchins.

At Grandma Barb’s we read [11] And You Can Be the Cat by [10] [12] Hazel Hutchins.

At bedtime we read:

[13] Guess How Much I Love You by [14] Sam Mcbratney;
[15] Daddy Kisses by Anne Gutman; and
[16] When Will It be Spring? by Catherine Walters.
