    I’m so glad to hear that he’s back safe and sound :). Since my friend came back, his children have been asking a lot of questions about the whys of war.

    I read an article about a book called A Bear in War: http://www.savvymom.ca/index.php/newsletter/remembrance_tales/

    Basically, it explains things in a softer way from a bear’s/child’s perspective. And my friend’s kids loved it and it did the job. You might want to give it a glance.
