Reading with Daddy

On Sunday morning, Reid wanted to snuggle with Daddy in his big bed and have him read to her. Specifically, she wanted him to read from the Calvin and Hobbes collected comics book that was  on my night table. I tried offering different books but Reid would not be swayed.  It’s odd to hear someone reading comics out loud and odder yet to hear them interpreting them. When I told Ken that comics weren’t funny if you had to explain them, he said in an exasperated tone, “Reid isn’t the target audiene, what do you expect?” or something to that effect. Now, *that* was funny.

Reid enjoyed her reading time with her daddy and that is the important thing, eh?
