As has become our habit, we began our day with a number of the books in the ABC Box from Discovery Toys, I decided to try and track which ones we have read. We looked at more than 10. As we can’t find the “W” book, I’d say we got through half. We also read Ill Always Come Back by Steve Metzger. I wish there were more pictures of the girl and her dad. Overall, there aren’t enough dads in Reid’s books.
At bedtime we read:
- Benny’s Bus (no author), of course, we did;
- Dad Mine! by Jane Kemp and Clare Waltersand illustrated by Dawn Apperley, read by Daddy, who was happy to see it again;
- Going on a Field Trip, a Read and Roll book;
- A Tune-Up for Toby, a Read and Roll book;
- My Little Animal Book by Jo Rigg, half by Daddy and half by Mama, although Daddy tried to trick Reid by skipping some pages. She has the book memorized and so that didn’t work.
